about the Job
In this role, you will oversee the migration and onboarding of applications to a Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) platform, ensuring seamless integration and high system reliability. You will design and implement automation initiatives, maintain DevOps tools, and handle OS patching and version upgrades. Your responsibilities include establishing enterprise monitoring capabilities, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring 100% uptime for DevOps tools. You'll be a key player in enhancing automation and supporting DevOps infrastructure.
Skills and Experience Required
Must Have:
- Experience installing, setting up, upgrading, and maintaining at least 2 DevOps tools.
- Admin experience with a minimum of 2 DevOps tools.
- Deep expertise in debugging and troubleshooting DevOps tools.
- Production support mindset (24x7), focusing on housekeeping, monitoring, alerts, and system hygiene.
- Basic skills in troubleshooting OS, server, network, and system logs (e.g., system, error, Tomcat, network, Docker logs).
- Linux experience (preferably RHEL).
- Proficiency in writing Shell/Bash scripts for task automation.
Good to Have:
- Skills in troubleshooting DevOps pipelines (e.g., Aldon, SonarQube).
- Experience enhancing guardrails and monitoring for DevOps systems and pipelines.
- Basic MS-SQL knowledge for simple queries.
- Experience setting up CTRL-M jobs.
- Geneos and Splunk experience for monitoring and dashboard setup.
- Experience with Apache HTTPD as a reverse proxy and load balancer.
- Knowledge of Groovy and REST APIs for task automation.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), especially HCL AppScan.
- Deep technical expertise with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, xRay).
- Proficiency in debugging and troubleshooting DevOps tools and Groovy scripts.
- Strong skills in Unix/Linux shell scripting and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Experience in automation, tool integration, and maintaining tool uptime.
- Knowledge of SRE best practices and experience in a matrixed organization.
- Background in service support across infrastructure, network, storage, and security.
