    about the company

My client is a brand advisory firm headquartered in the UK, with 3 other offices in Europe, and specialises in brand protection and anti-counterfeiting matters. They are currently setting up their first Asia office in Singapore as there is a great demand while their business in Asia grows. If being a part of the pioneer team to set up operations in Asia excites you, apply now!

    about the job

You will play a key role in partnering the Head of Asia to extend superb secretarial support and to grow the operations in Asia. You will help to manage complex calendars, coordinate travel arrangements, schedule and prepare documents for meetings (including taking attendance notes), handle expense claims and reports, as well as assist with billing and client onboarding processes. As the team grows, you will also be expected to liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors in setting up the co-working office / rental of office space, and to manage all office operations. Other administrative duties, such as managing and updating of information from clients and working in collaboration with colleagues from other offices, will also fall under your care.

    about the manager/team

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Asia and will work closely with your HR and Finance colleagues from the other offices in Europe.

    skills and experience required

The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role supporting a member of the leadership team, preferably in the legal sector. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to handle challenging situations with patience and tact. Being meticulous, proactive and having good prioritisation skills will also contribute to your success in this role. As most of the people they work with are based in China, you will need to be able to converse, read and write in Mandarin to interact with clients who are unable to communicate in English.
