We are partnering with the world's largest producer of renewable diesel refined from waste and residues. They are industry innovators in the introduction of renewable solutions to the aviation and plastics industries. We are seeking for E&I Supervisors to join our client’s rapidly expanding team in Singapore.

about the job

You will be responsible for safety, quality of work, compliance with specifications and procedures and cost effectiveness.

In your role, you will

  • Provide field electrical & instrumentation (including analysers and automation) inputs to Maintenance Planner for accurate, effective and efficient maintenance work planning.
  • Coordinate and supervise planned and scheduled maintenance work executions by contractors, including maintenance executed projects and modifications.
  • Accountable for compliance with all safety, quality and maintenance procedures, including related technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Planner, operations and contractors on all field execution activities, status and work permitting.
  • Timely reporting of maintenance activities updates, reporting and work order closing in CMMS (i.e. findings, work done, man-hours, spares and material utilized, purchases verifications, etc.)
  • Timely reporting and highlighting of findings and discoveries for prompt remedies and resolutions, provide proposals and solutions as first-line trouble shooter. Adopt recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP)

about the manager/team

Reporting to E&I Engineer / Senior Maintenance Supervisor, you will manage field electrical & instrumentation maintenance activities (including analysers and automation) and supervise contractors in all maintenance, projects and shutdown activities executed by the maintenance team.

You will work closely with various internal stakeholders in Singapore and other sites and also external stakeholders including suppliers and experts to ensure safe & reliable operations, achieving high compliance to site and regulatory requirements with cost effectiveness.

skills and experience required

  • Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or equivalent
  • Minimum five years of relevant experience in plant electrical and instrumentation maintenance work in related industry,
  • Experience in process plant maintenance of primarily electrical and instrumentation and related systems.
  • CMMS – SAP, IFS, etc., plant maintenance, material / inventory management
  • Task risks assessment
  • Direct field supervision of contractors
