My client is a leading engineering company of up to 200 employees specialising in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E). They mainly provide supply and installation services to commercial, industrial, and institutions and infrastructure for the Singapore and Malaysia construction industry for almost 20 years. They are currently looking for Electrical Project Engineers based at various sites.
about the job
- Support the PM for the execution of contracts progress, project controls, budgeting and planning
- Support the PM with regard to design and project execution of one or more simultaneous projects in accordance with project general specifications, particular specifications, technical specifications and drawings
- Assist PM on all other project administrative matters
- Oversee the whole shop drawings, catalogues and calculations
- Prepare project status/ progress reports, method of statements, testing procedures, project schedules and forecasts
- Ensure installations and activities adhere to design, equipment, and safety standards.
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultations, subcontractors, suppliers and own teams to ensure smooth progression of the projects
- Assist PM on all other project administrative matters
- Evaluation of tenders and prepare bill of materials and engineering deliverables.
skills & experience required
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years experience in Electrical Engineering in M&E Industry
- Excellent technical and project management skill
- 5.5 days work week (every saturday 0.5 day)
