about the team

You will be part of the Electronic Client Services team where you will be responsible for managing the technical on-boarding of complex Direct Market Access (DMA) clients. You will also be the first line of defence for the risk assessment of clients’ technology and operational risks.

about the role

• Provide technical sales support to the Relationship Managers
• Managing the on-boarding process to the testing and implementation of all new clients connectivity for electronic execution initiatives for exchange traded securities in the region
• Perform account opening and obtain KYC documentation from clients
• Attend to client enquiries regarding the systems
• Handle queries of trading databases including SQL queries
• Assess the quality of implemented pre and post-trade controls, execution risk, management and operational controls, architecture etc., at the client’s side
• Coordinate and ensure completion of Client Risk Questionnaires
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including Sales, Technology, Risk & Compliance etc., to ensure timely and prompt delivery of services to clients
• Participate in projects which include new exchange on-boarding, trading platforms, new markets, regulatory compliance initiatives etc.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management
• Retrieve clients’ platform usage, and presenting the information to sales team

skills and experience required

• Minimum Degree
• At least 2 years of relevant experience within the Financial Services sector
• Possess good working knowledge of Electronic Trading systems
• Understanding of trading regulations across APAC exchanges
• Knowledge in Exchange Direct Market Access (DMA) rules, regulations and connectivity
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
