about the job
- Manage day-to-day operations of Global Service Desk, Field Services, and IT asset management with proactive service level management across an organization with a user base of over 10,000 users to ensure that service level targets are met in accordance with SLAs
- Build, motivate and manage a high-performance team by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, coaching and appraising job results, including coaching of staff
- Support the delivery of End User Technology projects (e.g., Workplace technology, Office productivity and Smart IT initiatives)
- Creates training materials, on a range of IT topics and services via technology. These materials will be posted to relevant sites (portals) for the benefit of the entire user community
- Guidance in managing the overall asset life-cycle process
- Lead in the End User support process & policy standards to ensure high quality and cost-efficient delivery of the services.
skills and experience required
As a successful applicant, you will have at least 5 years of experience in a large global end user environment. Proven Service Desk and Field Service support experience together with proven leadership skillset.
Knowledge in ITIL and Microsoft Suite (O365) technology preferred.
