about the job

  • focus on identifying, pursuing, and closing New Enterprise business high value network centric design, build and WAN managed services opportunities within the business enterprise sector.
  • attain monthly sales quota and meet required sales activity levels, including, but not limited to: contacting prospective customers by telephone, cold call premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
  • close sales engagements with customers by gaining commitment to implement the value-adding solution(s).
  • prepare and present professional proposals specific to customer needs and that align with their goals, critical success factors, and strategic vision ultimately moving them toward the purchase. Compile sales proposal documents and ensure proper documentation is completed.

skills and experience required

  • Minimum Diploma in IT / Business Development or Equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years of hunter sales and farming function in Telecommunications, IT or relevant network and connectivity
  • possess general business knowledge to understand what business problems the prospects are trying to solve & properly qualify the Sales Opportunity.
  • background in selling to Financial Services Institutions, Logistics, or Industrial market
