about the job

  • Carry out on-site or remote support activities and close service calls
  • Support system warranty standby
  • Carry out quality installation, Preventive Maintenance (PM) according to schedule
  • Participate and manage the new product release process as required
  • Initiate, identify and participate in internal processes re-engineering projects
  • Make timely reporting of issues and problems

skills & experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechatronics / Electromechanical / Mechanical / Electronic / Electrical Engineering
  • Min 4 years in installation & troubleshooting of equipment in a cleanroom environment
  • In depth hands on with PVD / CVD systems / sputtering equipment
  • Ability to build and maintain good relationship with customers
  • Customer-oriented mentality and excellent client servicing skills
  • Excellent trouble shooting / assembly of electronics components
  • Able to commit to night shift /weekend shift if there is a need to
  • Good understanding on vacuum systems (ion pumps / vacuum gauges / cryopumps) will be a plus
