As the Executive Assistant to the Head of Singapore, your main responsibilities will be focused on providing superb secretarial support to your leader, including complex calendar management, travel arrangements, expense claims, scheduling and coordinating meetings, whether physical or virtual. You will also need to extend secretarial and administrative support to the senior management team on an adhoc basis. This role will entail frequent events planning and execution, where you will need to be the main organiser for internal and client-facing activities, including breakfast/lunch/dinner meetings, regular market insights sharing sessions and board meetings for Asia. Sourcing for vendors, caterers, suppliers for corporate gifts / celebrations (such as Christmas cookies and Lunar New Year red packets).
about the manager/team
You will be reporting to the Country Manager of Singapore, and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute your duties successfully.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 10 years of experience in supporting the senior management team, preferably a front office team / Corporate Banking team. You will need to be very organised, have strong follow-through skills, and agility in your scope of work to balance multiple tasks and be able to lend a helping hand to the team whenever required. Being resourceful in sourcing for vendors and caterers, and having good initiative to be observant to small details when planning events, will help you to succeed in this role. You will also need to be proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and be familiar in updating/compiling presentation slides for regional meetings.
