about the job
In this role, you will be working alongside another Senior EA to provide excellent secretarial and administrative support to the CEO, and extend support to the Deputy CEO as and when coverage is needed. You will be responsible to manage the CEO’s calendar and ensure that tasks and appointments stay updated and relevant to the priorities and schedule of the CEO, including recurring management and board meetings. You will need to provide support and help to coordinate local projects and initiatives, such as intensive preparation and compilation of presentation slides for meetings, as well as to coordinate travel arrangements for the Senior Management team. Taking the initiative to be resourceful in exploring cost-efficient solutions during your day to day work will be expected of you in the long-run. Other general administrative support, such as answering calls, sorting mail, handling paperwork and maintaining databases, will also fall under your care.
about the manager/team
You will be supporting the CEO and other C-suite executives when required, and will be reporting directly to the Senior Executive Assistant, who will work alongside you to support the CEO.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 10 years of experience in a secretarial role, preferably supporting C-suite members in the banking and finance industry. You will need to be highly proficient in using Microsoft Office and have excellent multi-tasking and organisational skills. The ability to communicate effectively and professionally, along with the ability to keep on top of your tasks and stay a few steps ahead of the CEO’s schedule, will contribute to your success in this role.
