    My client is a leading international company that specialises in real estate services and was founded in the United Kingdom over 20 years ago.

    about the job

    While being employed by a service provider, you will be working onsite with a technology firm, where you will be extending superb facilities management and support to the office. You will be responsible to create and maintain a service-focused experience by supporting the needs of the team. You will also be expected to manage all office operations and employee welfare, from taking care of pantry and office supplies, to being the main point of contact for external vendors/contractors/suppliers and coordinating internal and external events. Other administrative tasks, such as covering for front desk receptionist duties, preparation of documents/reports, and carrying out workplace safety procedures, will also be assigned to you as and when required.

    about the manager/team

    You will be reporting to the Assistant Facilities Manager and will work closely with your counterparts in the company to ensure quality support to the team.

    skills and experience required

    The ideal candidate should be tertiary educated and come with at least 1 year of experience in a similar role supporting office facilities, preferably in a technology or professional services firm. You will need good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise and interact with external vendors, contractors and suppliers. Being a good team player, organised and service-oriented will also contribute to your success in this role. As a majority of stakeholders come from Chinese-speaking countries, you will need to be able to converse, read and write in Mandarin to interact with your counterparts who are unable to communicate in English.
