As the Field Service Engineer of the organization, you are effectively required to:
Conduct installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs of medical devices at customer sites. Ensure all equipment operates efficiently and meets regulatory standards.
Provide technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, diagnosing technical issues, and offering effective solutions promptly.
Train end-users and other technicians on the proper use and maintenance of medical devices. Create and update training materials as needed.
Maintain accurate records of service visits, inventory, and equipment conditions. Complete service reports and documentation in a timely manner.
Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and customer support, to address customer needs and improve product performance.
Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and technological advancements. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and stay compliant with regulations.
about the manager/team
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will work collaboratively with the service team.
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you possess at least 1 year of service engineer experience within the medical device business. Open to service engineers from other industries who are interested in transitioning into the medical device sector.
