about the job

They are currently looking for a Field Service Planner as part of their Service and Installation department role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for providing technical service such as troubleshooting, installation, commission, maintenance and repairing of company’s products and systems in order to ensure continuous function at the customer site and in compliance with quality and safety requirements.
  • To support the Field Service Engineers in planning and organizing service trips to the customer site and to enhance a smooth and efficient operations of the field service activities.
  • Administrate the planning and scheduling of service engineering maintenance activities at the customer site.
  • Organize travel schedules and tickets and required visas.
  • Handle phone calls and customer service inquiries and organize appropriate and timely action for solving customer problems.
  • Check on service contracts and price agreements
  • Coordinate work activities and schedule planning for maintenance, troubleshooting and/or installing new systems with customers and in close collaboration with the sales and engineering team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely administration of timesheets and invoicing of the activities at customer site and delivery of spare parts.
  • Support the Field Service Engineer in work preparation, a.o. with regard to required materials and ordering of spare parts.
  • Prepare and issue quotations to customers for engineer costs and spares for direct services
  • Oversees the administrative support staff.



skills and experience required

  • Min. Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics) with 3 – 5 years of relevant job experience.
  • Basic knowledge of power electronic products and systems.
  • SAP working knowledge in recent employment.
  • Good Microsoft Office working knowledge.
