Currently, they are hiring for a high calibre Finance Director to help to grow their APAC business.

about the job

Reporting to the COO/CFO, you will be overseeing the financial reporting and management reporting functions. You will be reviewing the reporting process to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with corporate governance. In this role, you will be partnering with the management team on revenue projections, staffing requirements and provide financial advice/support. You will be preparing the annual budget, quarterly re-forecast of annual budget and variance analysis for the local, regional and global management review. You will coordinate, analyse and report financial performance to the CFO on a monthly basis. This includes reviewing cost-revenue analysis, renewal of client contracts, business strategy and achieving a healthy operation margin. You will also manage client/ finance relationships which includes the drafting of client agreements and liaising with the legal teams in terms of agreement, preparation of fee proposals and staffing plans to support client fee agreement. You will also review debtors and creditors aging, conduct credit checks and set credit limits for new clients, annual review of credit limit for existing clients, liaising with the legal team for debt recoveries. You will also oversee the audit and tax functions, liaising with internal and external auditors, tax agents and other governments on ensuring compliance. You will also be reviewing the working capital requirements and cash flow projections; manage the banking relationship and contract for overdraft facility, transactional chargers, banker guarantee etc. In this role, you will need to oversee all administration functions such as procurement and IT.

skills and experience required

You should ideally be a qualified CPA with prior experience in the media industry. You are proactive, self-motivated and are strong in presenting your analysis and ideas to the management team. You are practical in your approach and can be a strategic business partner. You would also need to be comfortable working independently and be a strong problem solver.
