You will take ownership of the IFRS17 project by checking, comparing, and ensuring data accuracy, creating a project plan. You will be reviewing and updating policies and processes related to IFRS17 while also ensuring proper controls are in place. You will ensure accuracy of accounting entries and financial reports for the company, and keep track of the different financial records to ensure they match up. You will create monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and deal with questions from auditors and other stakeholders.
Skills and experience required
Degree in accounting & finance or any professional qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA) with at least 5 years of reporting/IFRS17 experience in the insurance industry. In order to succeed, you should possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work well in teams. Big 4 insurance auditors should apply.
