about the role
- Support the Japan market reporting which includes but not limited to: Regulatory Reporting (JGAAP), Head Office Reporting, Management Reporting, Capital Reporting, Transfer Pricing, Tax Reporting, Audit etc
- Review regulatory returns
- Produce and review presentation decks for management reporting, as well as perform analysis
- Monitor and review capital returns for the Japan entities
- Complete and review tax returns for the Japan entities
- Liaise and work closely with Internal and External auditors
skills & experience required
- Minimum Degree in Accounting
- At least 8 years of Accounting or Finance experience, preferably with experience in the Banking or Financial Services sector
- Good understanding of Japan’s regulatory and financial reporting requirements (JGAAP)
- Good Excel skills
