about the job

This is a role best suited for someone who is passionate about automation and process improvement projects, and who is comfortable managing multiple projects at once.

Reporting to the Head of Business Operations Excellence, you will take on a critical role to lead business process improvements across Asia Pacific by analyzing existing processes and developing models and preparing business case presentations to substantiate your recommendations to the senior leadership team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization to implement new or improved operational processes, including solving problems using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies etc., automating and/or re-engineering.

You will also look at internal controls relevant to finance operations, SAP and other systems that the organization uses, and be a key member training and educating colleagues on the process improvement projects.


skills and experience required

To be successful in this role, some key skills and experience that you will require include:-

  • At least 6 years' good project management experience, particularly relating to process improvements and implementations
  • Analytical and familiar with various business analysis techniques, eg. root cause analysis, Kaizen, etc.
  • Experience handling change management, eg. Lean, Six Sigma
  • A good understanding of accounting and finance operations / processes, and experience working with Shared Service implementation / improvement preferred
  • A confident individual with good presentation skills, good interpersonal skills and strong project management skills
