Our client is a leading US listed MNC in the manufacturing industry with global revenue of over 10 billion. They have a wide global presence and pride themselves for their continued efforts in providing safety technology and solutions for their stakeholders. Due to their continued focus and commitment to Asia, we are partnering them to look for a Finance Manager to lead the accounting team.

about the job

As the Finance Manager, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and working alongside a team of 4. In your role, you will be taking care of the month end closing process including reviewing balance sheet and variance analysis reports as well as to ensure compliance in accordance with US GAAP and SFRS. You are also responsible for the oversight of the full set of accounts and financial statements and will be reviewing the work of juniors and providing guidance.

skills and experience required

You should ideally possess a degree in accountancy with at least 10 years of working experience in the accounting or audit function in a dynamic MNC and audit firm. You should have strong knowledge in US GAAP and prior working experience in the manufacturing industry. Hands-on experience working on finance functions including operational accounting and reporting is an added advantage. Supervisory experience is ideal. Excellent communication skills to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders.
