Our client is a well-funded consumer startup that is rapidly expanding across the SEA market, they are currently looking to get listed this year and are looking for a dynamic Finance Manager to join them on this exciting journey.
About the job
Reporting to the CEO you will be leading a team to oversee the full suite of financial activities and will be instrumental in setting the direction of the business along with the leadership team. You will also be responsible for system choices, setting of group policies, initiative and projects that will further push the business forward as they continue to scale up. The business is also looking to groom this person to step up into the CFO role and as the business is currently in the midst of the IPO process the ideal candidate is one who is ambitious, able to work with ambiguity and is resilient given that there will be long hours during this IPO process.
Skills and experience required
You should possess a recognised accounting degree in Accounting with accounting professional qualifications as a Chartered Accountant/CPA equivalent. At least 6 years of relevant experience is required and ability to speak in mandarin is a must to liaise with chinese stakeholders. Candidates with Big4 experience would be highly advantageous.
