Manage the company's finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and compliance with audit requirements
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulators
Lead and manage a team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to carry out their responsibilities effectively.
Skills and experience required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
At least 6 years of experience in finance and accounting in the insurance industry
Proven track record of leading finance operations in a life insurance company
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
Experience in finance process automation/RPA projects would be an added advantage
