You will be managing the end-to-end finance project, collaborating with finance, actuarial, and IT teams on IFRS17 reporting system. You will oversee system implementation, design governance for the closing process, and assist in producing financial disclosures. You will lead the development of the IFRS 17 reporting system, coordinate the new closing process design and establish procedures. You will guide the teams across finance and actuaries on year-end closing, handle any issues, ensure compliance, review financial analyses, coordinate reporting, and enhance system capabilities.
Skills and experience required
Degree in Accountancy or Actuarial Science with at least 8 years of project management experience in the insurance industry. You should possess good understanding of IFRS17 accounting standards, and has prior involvement in IFRS17 implementation project or work-streams. In order to succeed you should possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, you should be organised and able to meet tight deadlines.
