They are now looking for a dynamic and steadfast professional to lead their regional finance team as a Financial Controller, APAC.

about the job

Leading a team, you are the key business partner to the business stakeholders in providing technical accounting advice and recommendations to drive commercial decisions across the region. You will assess the current practices and policies, rectify control weaknesses, drive initiatives for improvements, share best practices and ensure statutory compliance, especially in the aspect of revenue recognition, US GAAP and SOX. You will also be responsible for corporate reporting, review of monthly closing and provide technical advice on complex, high-value contract terms involving products, service, and warranty.

skills and experience required

Ideally, you possess a degree in accounting or finance with at least 10 years of postgraduate experiences in multinationals, with some prior years in Big 4. You possess strong technical knowledge and are highly proficient in US GAAP and accounting standards, specifically on revenue recognition. You should have exposure working in equipment-based organization that provides both products and service solutions. You are a self-starter and change agent with experiences in technical advisory and driving process improvements. An appreciation for cross cultural issues and excellent communication skills will be essential in this role.
