Our client is a Luxury Retail MNC and they are currently looking for a Finance Controller to join them.
About the job
Reporting to the GM you will be leading a team and be responsible for the day to day accounting activities (80%) and provide strategic business partnering support in areas of financial planning and analysis activities (20%) such as budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and providing insights to the business for the Asia region. You will also be working closely with the shared services team and improve the level of collaboration between teams to ensure deliverables are met. There will also be upcoming projects that this person will be taking the lead to roll out across the region. The ideal candidate is one who is highly detailed, organized and has a track record of navigating through complex and fast-paced environments given the nature of the industry.
Skills and experience required
A recognised degree in accounting or ACCA or relevant with at least 10 years of relevant experience with leadership experience being a must have. Candidates coming from consumer related MNCs (FMCG/Fashion/Luxury/Retail) would be highly advantageous.
