Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for supervising a team of accountants and managing the full spectrum of financial activities for the company. Your duties will include overseeing the preparation and submission of financial statements in accordance with SGX reporting requirements, managing the budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data. You will work closely with senior management to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, manage internal and external audits, and oversee tax planning and management. Your role will also involve cash flow management, financial risk assessment, and implementing process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and effectiveness.
Skills and experience required
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or relevant disciplines with professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA preferred
- Relevant years of experience in a leadership capacity within an SGX-listed company
- Strong knowledge of SGX reporting requirements and statutory compliance in Singapore
- Proven experience in managing a team and leading financial operations
- Excellent financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting skills
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills are essential
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining financial accuracy and compliance
