about the company

This is a Singapore based start up that has been expanding aggressively in the last 3 years. Constantly innovating to cater to the needs of their customers, they manage to achieve double digit revenue growth year on year. Currently, they are looking to hire a head of finance for the region.

about the role

Reporting to the MD, you will be involved in the end to end finance reporting. You will be overseeing the preparation and review of monthly group financials. You will implement a system of internal controls and approval procedures across multiple markets; manage quarterly and annual budgeting as well as the cashflow forecasting process. You will perform in-depth analysis and forecasting to support business decisions. You will also deliver accurate and timely financial/ management reports in accordance to the stipulated requirements to key stakeholders. You will supervise a regional team and manage the processional development of direct reports.

skills and experience required

You should ideally possess a CA, CPA or Accounting Degree from a reputable university. You have at least 10 years of experience doing accounting work, financial analysis for a regional HQ. You have experience managing a team. You have the experience managing regional portfolio as well as a Shared Service environment. You have a strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, consolidation and internal controls. You are driven, analytical, hands-on and meticulous. You are a fast learner and have no issues operating with flexibility and ambiguity in a fast paced and dynamic environment. As you will be liaising extensive with Chinese stakeholders.
