Headquartered in Europe, this is a prestigious marketing and advertising agency with a strong presence around the world. They are looking for a new financial controller to support their operations in Asia-Pacific.

about the job
Reporting to the Finance Director based in Singapore, you will be oversee and lead the finance team in handling the full spectrum of financial activities in the Asia-Pacific region. You will be responsible for month- and year-end closing, prepare financial and regulatory reports in compliance with IFRS and US GAAP, submit tax returns and other regulatory reports, and perform forecasting and budgeting activities. You will manage the annual audit exercise, and review and improve internal controls and other accounting policies. You will also work closely with the Tax team to ensure compliance and tax effiency and compliance.

skills and experience required
You should ideally possess the following:

  • Degree in accountancy or related qualifications;
  • A minimum of 8 years of working experience, with strong hands-on experience in managing full spectrum of finance;
  • Good IFRS and US GAAP knowledge;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds; and
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
