Constantly innovating to meet the changing consumer needs and behaviours while expanding their market share in the APAC region, they are now looking for a high calibre Commercial Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) manager for the region’s business.

about the job

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be preparing the quarterly financial and business performance reports for the Senior Management. You will perform analysis of financials versus various comparatives.

You will be monitoring, reporting and doing the in-depth analysis of the revenue and expenses as well as the key value drivers. You will also be managing the quarterly and long term forecasting and budgeting exercise. You will consolidate, analyse, eview and present the annual budget and quarterly forecasts of the various product lines. You will also assess the reasonableness of financial assumptions and highlight relevant risks and issues. You will analyse key drivers supporting the product P&L, work closely with the other departments on intercompany reconciliation, management adjustment and cost allocation issues. You will analyse the cost allocation drivers and assess their relevant reasonableness. You will also be looking at business case reviews, using financial models to ascertain the return on investment and expected profitability of respective capex investments, existing and new product lines. You will engage in competitors analysis and prepare quarterly benchmarking reports for the Senior management team as well as board of directors. You will be responsible for the monthly opex budget, forecast and analysis. As the company is always looking for new innovation to drive operational efficiency, you will participate in system enhancements and automation projects, and support the C-suite (CEO/ CFO) in ad-hoc projects.

skills and experience required

You should ideally be Degree qualified or equivalent with at least 6 years in financial analysis. Prior experience working in the Big 4 is preferred. You possess strong business acumen with excellent financial analysis and modelling skills. You are innovative in problem solving; have the ability to handle multiple projects and timeliness effectively despite the conflicting demands. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You are self-motivated and able to deliver under challenging conditions and tight timelines. You have strong competency and understanding of relevant accounting standards. You are IT savvy and proficient in the full suite of Microsoft Office. You are adaptive to change and comfortable in implementing change.
