You will oversee local regulatory reporting for the business, assuming various responsibilities, including performing MAS quarterly or annual closing, handling quarterly and annual reporting to MAS and other regulatory bodies, managing monthly financial closing based on MAS standards, and submitting adhoc reports to regulatory bodies. Additionally, this role involves monthly closing, analysis of monthly financial, balance sheet reconciliation, year-end audit, and providing support to external auditors.
Skills and experience required
Degree in Accountancy or any professional qualifications (CA/CPA/ACCA) with at least 5 years of regulatory reporting experience ideally in the life insurance industry. In order to succeed you should possess strong knowledge in local regulatory requirements, and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work well in a team. Big 4 insurance auditors should apply.
