about the role
- Design and build software systems that are optimized, scalable, and maintainable
- Develop and enhance software applications to meet functional and technical specifications
- Build front-end and back-end software, including business logic and APIs
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure high-quality code and software
- Create documentation for software and systems
- Identify opportunities for system improvement and make recommendations
- Ensure the delivered applications follow security best practices and comply with enterprise security standards
skillset and experiences required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of development experience, preferably with a Java background
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JS/TS) and web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
- Experience with back-end JavaScript (Node.js/TypeScript) or other back-end frameworks
- Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems (Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL, etc.) and NoSQL (MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with automated testing and using CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Ability to take ownership of work and deliver end-to-end solutions with minimal support
