Our client is an established European Manufacturing organization in the Semiconductor space. They are world-renowned for their impressive progress in technology as well as their generous employee welfare. As they are aggressively expanding, they seek a well-seasoned, experienced GL Accountant to join their high performing Shared Service Centre.


about the job

Reporting to the SCS Head, your responsibilities included:

  • In charge of the processing of all general ledger journals, Inter-company, Inventory and Fixed Assets transactions.
  • Experience on Project/Order settlement module will be an added advantage
  • Review of the GL account balances at the end of each month.
  • Provide timely and accurate support to entities required
  • Monitor period end close process and timely/ complete processing.
  • Timely preparation of relevant supporting returns and schedules for tax and statutory reporting.
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet schedules, reconciliation and monthly ledger reviews.
  • Knowledge on corporate income tax and other tax calculations, tax returns etc
  • Added advantage if with supervisory experience

skills and experience required

To be successful in this role, you should be a good team player with great interpersonal and possess the following skills and experience:-

  • Minimum 8 years experience in GL capacity, Shared Service experience will be highly preferred
  • SAP knowledge is a must
  • CA and Degree qualification
  • Able to work in the North area
