Our client is a leader in their field and supports the packaging industry. We are currently looking for an AP & GL Executive/Accountant to join them.
About the job
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for all account payable and general ledger matters which includes expenses and payment transactions, reconciliation of intercompany balances, analysis of accounts and reports and preparing of month end journals. You will also be assisting in fixed assets matters and any other adhoc duties assigned. The ideal candidate is one who has good logical thinking with a willingness to solve issues and improve existing processes and is also resilient.
Skills and experience required
You should possess a recognised accounting degree with at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience. Experience in both Oracle system and advanced Excel would be an advantage.
