Headquartered in Singapore, our client is a growing technology company specialising in internet hosting and cloud computing services. As part of their expansion plans, they are looking for the first Global HR hire to lead and develop their end-to-end HR functions and strategy.

Reporting directly to the management team, you will be working closely with them to develop and implement effective human resources, talent acquisition and talent management strategies across global markets. In addition, you will:

Drive the company’s human resources, recruiting and talent acquisition strategies, supporting the hiring of leadership positions globally
Set up HR structures and policies in line with local country laws and regulations, driving towards best business efficiency and organisational effectiveness across assigned markets
Manage employee relations, employee experience, well-being and employer branding
Support end-to-end HR and business needs; working closely with the CEO, HQ and Leadership Team to drive towards organisation goals and objectives
Adopt data-driven methodologies to analyse trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies

skills and experience required

Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, Economics or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources; of which 6 years within a regional / global capacity
Experience within the technology industry is preferred
Strategic mind-set with strong understand of various regional market landscapes
Proven track record as a business partner to senior stakeholders; facilitating business strategy, capability building, manpower strategy planning, talent management and employee relations
Good knowledge of local compliance and labour laws across China and South East Asian countries as the role is required to lead HR functions across these regions
Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision, takes accountability and resilient
