My client is an up-and-coming and promising startup. Having completed several funding rounds over the past few years, they have embarked on their journey to establish themselves as a key market player in their industry. With this vision in mind, they are looking to bring on board a visionary and ambitious HR Business Partner to provide the HR guidance and strategy moving forward.

about the job

Being a sole contributor, you will be a key HR Advisor and be responsible to lead all HR activities and instilling a strong culture to attract and retain talents.

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • HR Advisory - providing day-to-day support on HR matters to the Singapore office
  • Business partnering with the senior leadership team to deliver HR solutions
  • Performance management - establishing and setting KPIs, coaching and developing employees etc
  • Compensation and benefits - benchmarking across the industry to ensure competitive remuneration packages, designing and implementing new compensation frameworks and structures etc
  • Working with internal stakeholders to implement and deliver sourcing strategies
  • Talent management - ensuring key career development frameworks and plans are in place, implementing HIPO strategies etc

skills and experience required

If you are someone who is excited to work in fast-paced startup environments, someone who delights in growing and developing HR functions from scratch, seeing your ideas to fruition and someone who is comfortable dealing with change and ambiguity, this might be the role for you.

The ideal candidate will:

  • have a Bachelor Degree, preferably in Psychology or other related fields
  • have at least 10 years of working experience and at least 3 years of relevant HR experience (e.g. candidates who made a mid career switch to HR are welcomed to apply)
  • experience coaching business leaders
  • experience working in start-ups or setting up HR functions
  • experience in reviewing, design & implementing HR frameworks and policies
