about the job

This is a versatile role where you will take responsibilities both for technical knowledge transfer on a global level and for technical service business on an APAC regional level. On the global level, you will constantly transfer technical knowledge of newly developed products from R&D to regional service teams across EMEA, North America, and APAC through effective training; on the APAC regional level, you will manage a technical service team to provide excellent technical service to your end-customers and channel partners. You will:

  • Conduct trainings for EMEA and North America regional business as well as APAC distributors to enhance their technical capacity on a regular basis
  • Serve as an subject matter expert for all newly developed products from R&D
  • Directly supervise a team of Field Service Engineers and Field Application Scientists for the APAC region
  • Take P&L responsibilities for APAC Service Contract sales and delivery
  • Ensure timely delivery of technical support when a user challenge is escalated from APAC distributors
  • Closely partner with APAC Sales teams to ensure alignment of business goals


skills and experience required

  • Degree or above, in Engineering, Science, or Business
  • 5 years+ managerial experience in field service management and planning, with any Medical Device, Clinical Diagnostics, or Scientific Instrument business
  • Strong technical knowledge in automated liquid handling systems
  • Prior experience with Molecular Diagnostics assays
