They are currently expanding the team with this additional headcount and an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team as an Regional Accountant to oversee the full spectrum of group finance and reporting function.
about the job
Reporting to the Regional Group finance manager, you will play a critical role in managing financial consolidation for the Asia Pacific region and consolidating actual financial results, forecasts and budget. Reviewing capital expenditure across the subsidiaries. You will support strategic objectives on capex investments, preparing comprehensive reports and presentation for management decision. You will also assisnt in development and enhancement of improvement projects for controls, reporting and processes.
skills and experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance/Economics or equivalent or relevant professional qualifications
- Prior experience in Financial reporting or consolidation in MNC or covering regional portfolio.
- Prior audit experience would be highly desirable
- Proficiency in any financial consolidation software or ERP system would be a plus
- Good communication skills to interact with stakeholders from different background
- Good knowledge in Accounting standards and local statutory requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, resilient and resourceful to operate with highest level of integrity
