A private family office with a key focus in real estate, they have established a long history in Singapore with regional presence. As part of their succession planning strategy, they are now looking for a seasoned finance lead to be part of their management team and lead the function as a Group Finance Controller.

about the job

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be managing the team with full responsibility over their group and operational finance activities. You will have oversight of the full spectrum of the finance and corporate activities including financial and management reporting, portfolio review, cash flow management, treasury and taxation matters. As a key finance business partner, you will be providing financial insights to the leadership on ad-hoc investment activities, optimise tax structures, maintain banking relationships to support financing needs. You will also drive continuous improvements to business processes and ensure governance and controls.

skills and experience required

You are ideally qualified with a degree in accounting and CA. You have at least 15 years of relevant group finance experience, preferably within the real estate industry. You are an experienced people manager and possess the maturity and gavitas to positively influence stakeholders within a privately owned business.
