    about the company
    A leading Singapore business with operations in 20 countries is currently recruiting for a Group Legal Manager to lead the legal function for the business.

    about the job

    • Provide legal support for all legal entities within the Group.
    • Assess and identify legal risks in the company's business activities and recommend effective and appropriate solutions.
    • Prepare, review and/or negotiate a variety of contracts with clients, suppliers, business partners, employees, and any other relevant parties
    • Liaise with external legal counsels and regulatory bodies.
    • Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation's in the jurisdictions in which the group operates
    • Provide legal support on ad-hoc projects as and when needed
    • Centralise and manage agreements and corporate documents for all legal entities within the Group.
    • Manager a Corporate Secretary to perform corporate secretariat duties through participation in board/management committee meetings, drafting board/management committee papers/resolutions/minutes and ensuring follow through of action items required by the Board of Directors/Management Committees

    reporting to the CEO, Single contributor position

    skills and experience required
    The successful candidate will be degree educated with 5+ years PQE. You will have experience advising the leadership team on legal matters and managing contracts and external counsel. You will have excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin, if possible in order to liaise with associates in China.
