In this role, you will be managing the Group insurance Programmes. You will coordinate the GIP renewal tender process, review and recommend the selection of brokers, insurers and other service providers. You will review insurance policies, monitor and track GIP claims. You will lead the assessment and placement of potential insurances as programmes across the Group. You will lead periodic quantification exercises with the Group to determine acceptable clauses, coverage and terms. You will also provide recommendations to bridge between market offerings and requirements of the business. You will lead the assessment and set up a captive programme to complement and optimize the GIP. You will advise the business on the terms of coverage in contracts, premiums, difficult claims cases and negotiation with brokers / insurers at the global and local level. You will support business development projects on insurance due diligence studies and insurance requirements. You will support construction or expansion projects and abt ad-hoc insurance needs by the business. You will identify and recommend claims systems for various insurance programmes and support users of claims systems. You will manage the regular insurance reporting to senior management and review the insurance coverage policy annually. From time to time, you will be required to undertake ERM and BCM responsibilities.

skills and experience required

You should ideally possess a good degree with at least 12-15 years of risk management, consulting or auditing work experience. You have the experience in reviewing commercial contracts with a good understanding of the legality of contract terms. You have the experience of working in a challenging business environment with proven capabilities to digest and present complex information.
