Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Head of Digital Marketing will own all digital assets and channels supporting their entire consumer and retail banking business. This is a management position managing a small to medium sized team and presents the opportunity to lead the strategic development of digital marketing initiatives whilst working alongside a multitude of senior executives and cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing a complete Digital Marketing Strategy based on Website optimization, Search Engine Optimization, Content Development, Social Media Marketing, Paid Search and Email marketing, and use Analytics tools to fine tune strategy against KPIs
- Partner with functional stakeholders (product, sales, PMs, operations etc) as well as other marketing departments (segment, product) to develop and execute effective digital marketing strategy for business objectives.
- Owning and managing all digital assets, including any transformation and developments on the organisations MarTech stack to ensure effective digital marketing
- Optimise digital channels through robust measurement and tracking of initiatives, whilst developing assets to support the implementation of all marketing plans
- Identifying opportunities for growth by uncovering market potential and the formation of strategic priorities through market evaluation and problem framing
- Constantly engaged in tracking industry and competitors. Sharing competitor analysis reports on a regular basis. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
- Develop and manage vendors across requirements (website, digital marketing, print, social media etc.)
skills and experience required
- Bachelor's Degree from a recognised institution is highly preferred
- At least 13 years in a marketing role, with strong digital / growth / performance marketing experience
- Prior experience in banking and/or financial services is an added advantage
- Deep knowledge of digital ecosystems and automation tools in digital marketing, particularly for the B2C target audience
- Proven leadership track record with experience managing a team and leading the team to success
- Possessing strong interpersonal and communication skills in writing, reading and presenting, with an ability to build good relationships with multiple stakeholders
- Strong entrepreneurial desire & solution driven approach to business conversations, and the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders in a large organisation
- Ability to think, plan and execute through self-motivation and independence navigating in a fluid and ambiguous situations and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously in an organised way
- Confident about being able to understand complex technical solutions and produce influential client-relevant content
