about the role
Reporting to the MD, you will be managing the full spectrum of finance for that business line. You will look into the key business drivers, come up with templates for effective monitoring of costs and for evaluation of business performance. You will review the monthly closing by the shared service team, come up with rolling forecasts and periodic analysis. You will prepare the monthly management reports, the annual budgets and the quarterly forecasts. You will create financial models to help management make strategic decisions which includes new product launches and investments; pricing and bidding of new businesses. You will look into the existing projects, to enhance and maintain profitability. You will highlight to management on risks matters and project profitability status. You will implement new policies and controls; to enhance current policies and controls to ensure a strong risk control environment. You will participate in any system implementations and process enhancements. In this role, you will be managing a small team.
skills and experience required

You should ideally possess an accounting or finance degree from a reputable university with at least 10 years of relevant experience. You are strong in excel, financial modelling and business partnering. You are strong in communication and able to collaborate with the various stakeholders from the BU teams and the management team. Prior experience managing a team will come as a strong advantage for the role.
