Our client is a well known leader in the retail space and they are currently looking for a Head of Finance to join them.
About the job
Reporting to the CEO you will be leading a team and be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and financial planning and analysis activities. You will also be business partnering with the respective functions and provide advice where necessary to ensure business objectives are met. This is an exciting time for the business as they have recently acquired a new business and is looking to expand their portfolio into new areas outside of retail. The business also has plans to look into improving process/systems as well as strengthen the finance team’s capabilities thus the ideal candidate is one who is a strong leader with commercial acumen and comes across tactful in dealing with stakeholders.
Skills and experience required
You should possess a recognised Degree in Accounting or equivalent with at least 10-15 years of relevant experience. Background in consumer-related industries would be highly desirable given the fast pace nature of the business.
