Headquartered in Singapore, this is a prominent digital marketing and event planning company with a strong international presence. They are now looking for a new Head of Finance.

about the job
As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial activity in the organisation. You will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, review journal entries and other accounting information posted in the organisation's system, handle all tax matters, create financial models and perform financial valuation, support annual forecasting and budgeting exercises, and coordinate audit processes. You will also review internal controls and provide solutions to deficiencies in processes.

skills and experience required
You should ideally possess the following:

  • Degree in accountancy or related qualifications;
  • At least 5 years of related working experience, including strong hands-on experience in managing full sets of accounts; prior experience in SMEs or marketing, advertising or events management companies preferred;
  • Some managerial and business partnering experience;
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounting and related statutory regulations;
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse environment; and
  • Immediate availability or short notice period.
