about the job

Heading the HR function for both SG and Thailand, you will be a key person in the SG and Thailand business to act as a people advisor to work closely alongside the leadership team to bring about organizational change to the business. Your key role would be to lead the regional hub in SG and collaborate with the group to achieve desired business objectives. Your role will include but no limiting to:

  • Leading on the change and OD projects while aligning strategic directions with the executive leadership team
  • Ownership of all HR areas and setting up of the COE function in SG for the region
  • Be a strategic partner to the business to design, drive and execute HR initiatives
  • Plan and advise on the organization structure for both the business and the HR function
  • Catalyses organisational cultural transformation by working closely with the HQ
  • Lead on union matters

skills and experience required

You will be Degree qualified in a related field of studies and demonstrate at least 15 years of experience preferably in similar capacity preferably with leadership experience in managing a team under a matrix environment. Relevant experiences within the retail and/or consumer related market is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You should also possess the ability to drive both HR and business initiatives in order to meet business objectives. You will be someone who is able to multitask and work well across different business functions with excellent stakeholder management skills.
