    Our client is a leading Insurtech business who has ambitious plan to expand in the region. They have extensive support from their shareholders which include banks, insurers, reputable VCs and private equity firms. They have plans to set up Singapore as the health reinsurance hub and continue their expansion in South Asia, and are now looking for a Head of HR and Administration to join their team.


    about the job

    Reporting into the Regional Head, you will be the HR and Admin Head for the region and support the expansion plans on the organisation. In addition, you will:

    • Lead company HR development strategies; responsible for defining and implementing HR policies and guidelines, accordingly to local laws and regulations and the company's development needs
    • Develop human resources strategies and planning; allocating HR resources and ensure adequate employee succession planning and talent management.
    • Be responsible for recruitment, annual manpower planning and implementation
    • Provide relevant consulting services to employees and provide training in HR management and related tools within the company
    • Responsible for the definition and implementation of remuneration system, ensuring it is compliant with company policies and national regulations.
    • Responsible for the employee's visa processing, on-boarding and off-boarding, schedule arrangement and office administrative responsibilities


    skills and experience required

    • 8 years experience as a HR Generalist, covering end to end HR operations and administration
    • Relevant experience within the insurance, re-insurance and insurtech industry preferred
    • Proven track record as a business partner to senior stakeholders; facilitating business strategy, capability building, manpower strategy planning, talent management and employee relations
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
    • Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision and takes accountability
    • Good knowledge of local compliance and labour laws across South East Asian countries
