about the job

Strategy, Business development and market

  • Develop the overall regional market strategy in collaboration with sales directors and global marketing
  • Sparring with sales directors on marketing plans, budget allocation, key initiatives per market - ensure we have strong “go to market” plans and KPI’s in place at all levels
  • Ensure marketing plans and initiatives, media strategy, and focus areas are aligned with global strategy and local goals (which events, which campaigns, MDF level to partners, promotions relevant locally, brand initiatives etc.)
  • Ensure best practice sharing and ROI on initiatives are continuously evaluated and optimized and shared with global marketing
  • Ongoing optimization “best use of budget according to needs” and quarterly follow up with sales directors
  • Ensure scale in region by grouping initiatives (printing, merchandise, event costs) together with local marketing


  • Responsible for recruiting and developing the right marketing capabilities and marketing set-up in each market to support our business goals
  • Secure overall alignment between sales and marketing
  • Provide daily leadership, coaching and guidance to the marketing employees and ensure the ongoing development of the individuals and the team
  • Empower local marketing teams to execute on the relevant usage of existing tools and campaigns on regional/country level within budget
  • Create a trusting and engaging work environment through ongoing feedback to and empowerment of the team
  • Help and support the local marketing efforts when needed

Internal relationships and collaboration

  • Close collaboration with Sales Directors, developing the market strategy, making plans, setting the KPI’s and executing the plan
  • Work closely with the Global Marketing team to ensure that global marketing activities are implemented appropriately and that local initiatives are according to overall marketing guidelines and supporting the overall marketing strategy
  • Influence and give input to the global brand and marketing strategy - be the voice of local markets
  • Establish and ensure a clear collaboration between the sales and marketing team globally and locally to maintain a common corporate message and share best practices and insights
  • Participation in global project development (e.g. part of global development of partner program, trade campaign etc.)
  • Get input and feedback from sales directors regarding the performance and development of the local marketing employees

skills and experience required

  • Degree in Business Management / Marketing / Communications / Advertising
  • 5-7 years of experience working with marketing projects in a B2B environment including channel and trade marketing and possible corporate communications
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – outgoing and a team player
  • Driving marketing projects A-Z; ability to drive many projects simultaneously
  • Technical skills are not a must but interest for telecom / technical products is preferred
  • Experience from working with and supporting an international sales and marketing organization
  • Experience from working closely together with external agencies, partners and relevant vendors within marketing communication
  • Excellent communications skills
