• Identify risks in conjunction with business management and 1st Line of Defence (1LoD)
• Advise and support 1LoD in the development, definition and implementation of Operational Risk Management across Asia
• Investigate risks and events, and perform assessments in conjunction with management
• Ensure that the 1LoD operates in accordance with internal policies and standards, such that the costs of risk and the capital reserve are under control
• Point of contact for the reporting of and for queries relating to Operational Risk events and issues
• Monitor progress in Risk Mitigation activities, create reports and provide feedback to Management
• Keep abreast of recent developments, both internal and external, and incorporate findings into policy and procedures

skills and experience required

• Minimum Degree in a relevant discipline
• At least 10 years’ relevant Operational Risk Management experience within the Banking and Financial Services industry, with prior supervisory experience
• Strong organisational and project management skills
• Excellent communications and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive projects and initiatives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
