As a critical member of the leadership team, the Head of Sales APAC will be responsible for spearheading revenue growth and formulating sales strategies that align with the organisation objectives in the hyperscale and colocation data center sector. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of APAC, this role will be instrumental in achieving and surpassing sales targets and nurturing strong client relationships.
Your key responsibilities will include :
Sales Strategy Development: Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the APAC region, with a specific focus on hyperscale and colocation services across retail and wholesale clients.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet and exceed sales targets.
Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify growth opportunities and potential challenges.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their unique business requirements and ensuring the delivery of exceptional services.
Revenue Growth: Achieve and surpass revenue and profitability targets by crafting sales plans, implementing pricing strategies, and optimizing sales processes.
skills and experience required
- A bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field
- A proven track record of sales leadership in the data center industry, particularly in hyperscale and colocation services.
- Extensive knowledge of the APAC data center market, including key players and emerging trends.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
- A results-driven mindset with a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- A strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to evolving market conditions.
- Willingness to travel as required within the APAC region.
