For their Singapore office, they are looking for technically skilled Service Desk Analyst.



about the job

As the Service Desk Analyst, you will provide global support in a Windows environment to ensure all systems are running smoothly.

You will be required to:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance
  • Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic technique
  • Installs software and configures computerized equipment for use
  • Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
  • Troubleshoot any issues related to workstations, servers, printers, networks, and vendor specific hardware and software.

This is a permanent role, with a new office and excellent bonuses.

skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Diploma or degree in IT or related discipline
  • Minimum 4 years of Helpdesk experience, troubleshooting hardware and service experience (Microsoft platform)
  • Familiar in supporting mobile devices using MDM.
  • Proficient in installing and troubleshooting Windows based OS; experience with iOS troubleshooting a plus
  • Technical experience/expertise in: Microsoft BPOS / Office 365, Office 2010/2016, AD, Hardware issues (e.g. laptops, desktops, printers, etc.), Network connectivity (e.g., LAN, wireless, etc.)

skills and experience required

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Diploma or degree in IT or related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years of IT experience
    2-4 years of helpdesk experience (Tiered support)
    1 year of physical hardware replacements and troubleshooting
    1 year of server side experience on a Microsoft platform
    Technical experience/expertise in:
    o Microsoft BPOS / Office 365
    o Office 2010/2016 -- with an emphasis on Outlook and Word. Excel and PowerPoint a plus.
    o inContact
    o Box Cloud Storage
    o Active Directory
    o Solving complex software issues in a highly integrated environment.
    o Hardware issues (e.g. laptops, desktops, printers, etc.)
    o Network connectivity (e.g., LAN, wireless, etc.)
    o Dell PC and Laptop
    Familiar in supporting mobile devices using MDM.
    Proficient in installing and troubleshooting Windows based OS; experience with iOS troubleshooting a plus
    Ability to work in a metric based environment
    Familiar with LANDesk or equivalent
    Familiar with ITIL Foundation
    Experience providing application assistance to customers via phone and e-mail
    Experience working in demanding deliverable driven team environment
    Polished documentation skills
    Understands importance of time lines and critical issues
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Must possess the ability to make decisions based on business needs
    Certifications strongly desired: CompTIA A+, Network +
    Windows-based certifications a plus- including MCSE, MCSA, MCP
