HR & Admin Manager

$5500 X 14 months (Fixed cash) + VB + other allowances

about the job

Leading both the HR & Admin team, you will overlook the day to day HR & admin operational matters to develop the people’s agenda for growing, retaining and engaging the talents across the business in the SG office. You will be optimizing and scaling day-to-day HR Ops and be a trusted and credible ‘go to’ HR personnel. Your role will include but not limited to:

Human resource (70%-80%)

  • Full spectrum of HR duties; recruitment, on and off boarding
  • Streamline HR processes, workflow and identify gaps for improvement to drive HR initiatives
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and relationships through effective communication, negotiation and alignment of their needs with the organisation’s objectives
  • Support full business relating to recruitment, employee relations, coaching, grievance handling and change management initiatives
  • Develop and review HR policies and procedures against organisational needs, and in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues and solving workplace conflicts through effective mediation and conducting investigation as necessary
  • International assignees/mobility management; housing, tax, manage flight, visa and hotel arrangements for business travellers (both local and expats) and guests etc.

Administration (20%-30%)

  • Assume the role of a safety officer; manage workplace safety, office equipment replacement/repairs, lease matters
  • Support in general office admin and overseas guests in ad-hoc events and projects
  • Support Management on overseas guests’ hospitality and coordination matters

skills and experience required

You will be Degree or Diploma qualified in a related field of studies and demonstrate 5 years of experience preferably in similar capacity, with at least 2 year in a managerial role. Relevant experience is a definite advantage that would put you in a league above the rest. You should possess the experiences in full payroll processing. You will be someone who is able to multitask with good time management. Apart from the mentioned, you will also be someone who is meticulous, organized with the ability to work well in a diverse, dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role will suit candidates that are looking to embark on a HR career and grow together in a stable organization. Due to the nature of the business covering the Japan market, conversant in Japanese language is mandated for this position.
