about the job
Reporting to the Managing Director and HR Manager directly, you will play an integral role in shaping the future of the firm, and as the face of HR to provide effective business partnering, performance management, case management, HR advice and DE&I stream support for employees at all levels
- Manage the overall recruitment and selection process to hire good talent for retention and growth
- Manage the full spectrum of HR, across the entire employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, onboarding and induction, payroll, confirmation of staff details, references, probation, secondments and exit interview
- Develop and devise the graduate recruitment programme, along with the graduate recruitment team
- Manage the application pipelines and the recruitment process for the yearly vacation scheme programme/ graduate recruitment programme, including but not limited to job posting, CV screening, interview arrangement and offer extension
- Partners closely with the Learning and Development team on training related matters for employees
- Assists in supporting the resourcing team with the recruitment of lawyers and business services staff
- Support and partner closely with the internal D&I committee and networks to build and maintain employee engagement in workplace diversity
- Work closely with the business to identify talent and promote L&D options to address specific development needs
- Develop and deploy regional and global HR initiatives across various designated portfolios
- Works closely with the partners and management team, develop and implement effective strategies for recruiting top talent in a competitive market, which encompasses strategy for salary levels and benefits
- Supporting the delivery of HR activities and processes (Such as performance management, manpower planning, compensation and benefits) and ad-hoc projects at the business level
- Ensure governance and compliance in the areas of company policies, labor law and disciplinary management.
- Managing and coordinate annual and mid-year performance review and ensuring linkage of assessment result to annual compensation reviews
- Prepare annual salary and bonus letters, and facilitate annual and mid-year review
about the manager/team
As the HR Advisor, you will work closely with and build relationships with the Partners, Managers and employees and be the main point of contact for all HR related matters in the firm.
skills and experience required
To be a successful candidate, you should possess at least a Bachelor Degree, within areas of Human Resources, or related disciplines, with at least 5-6 years of relevant Human Resources experience, preferably from a Legal or Professional Services firm. Ideally, you should possess prior law firm experience, with an exceptional understanding and experience in relevant labor law and regulations as well as administration and compensation programmes.
